Drawn Circuits

I'm following up last semester's installation with another one. it's going to be held on the second floor of brown's list art center, room 221, a small enclosed space.

In the room i'm going to do a large drawing on the wall of one of these expansive city-architecture-crane-systems. before i project/trace the drawing onto the wall, i'm going to scan portions of it and animate them in aftereffects, and then project the moving areas into the larger system. these animated portions will be subtle and a small range of the drawing, enough to hint at movement. there will again be a sound component that will run on loops in the room. and i hope to make a small book that i will give away for free at the show (something we did last semester as well) in at attempt to keep art moving outside of
gallery space.
